“Angels Among Us”

Join us for an enchanting afternoon as the Foothills Chorale presents “Angels Among Us,” a concert that weaves together celestial harmonies and timeless melodies. Through a carefully curated selection of pieces, we will explore the presence of the divine in our lives, drawing inspiration from the idea that angels walk among us, guiding, comforting, and inspiring. Featuring beloved carols and stunning spirituals such as “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear” and “Amen! Tell It on the Mountain,” this concert promises to uplift your spirit and touch your heart. During our second half, Canadian composer Sarah Quartel’s gorgeous five-movement work “Snow Angel,” with narrators, piano, and cello, promises to offer a moment of peace and reflection in the midst of life’s hustle and bustle. Come and be a part of this magical experience, where music meets the divine.

“An American Patchwork”

Immerse yourself in the rich and diverse sounds of our nation’s musical heritage with “An American Patchwork,” a concert that celebrates the vibrant tapestry of American culture. From the heartfelt melodies of traditional folk songs and Native American melodies to the soulful depth of African-American spirituals and the spirited tunes of the Old West, our choir will take you on a journey through the heart of America. Each piece in this collection is a thread in the larger fabric of our shared history, reflecting the resilience, hope, and spirit of a people. For this concert, we are proud to display and celebrate the craftsmanship, tradition, artistry of regional quilting guilds. Join us for an afternoon of music that honors the voices of the past and brings to life the stories that continue to shape our identity.
